Dress: Free People / Shoes: DSW / Turtleneck: Target / Coat: Old similar here and here
I hope everyone had a great weekend. We explored Manhattan on Saturday and we got a mini snow storm on Sunday. We also started to get ready for Valentine’s Day this week. I got my beautiful red roses which I love because I get to appreciate them longer. We also planned our Valentine’s Day dinner menu, we always do a quiet dinner at home every year. We are having chilean sea bass and bacon wrapped scallops and non-alcoholic champagne.
Since I am due in a few short weeks we are taking it easy on the weekends and trying to finish getting ready for baby girl. I am sharing this fun Free People dress today. It is non-maternity but bump friendly. It is velvet material and so soft, the color really pops especially with an all black turtleneck. When we took these pictures we were so surprised at how amazing the color really looked. It also comes in Navy Blue and is definitely a win and is currently on sale for under $100. I can see transitioning this dress into Spring with a lace cami underneath instead of a turtleneck to cooperate with the warmer weather to come.
What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Do you prefer to wear traditional red on Valentine’s Day or something different such as black, pink or a pop of color on Valentine’s Day? Do you go out or stay in or celebrate with the girls?
Shoes: Aldo / Leggings: Express / Coat: White House Black Market
Sharing a final Valentine’s Day look today. All black with those red shoes. I have had these red shoes for awhile, and my favorite look is really an all black look with that pop of red. Here I am wearing the look with leggings but I have worn it with an all black dress, and black and white pant / shirt combo. It really is classic and can’t go wrong. If you want to go extra sexy, or wear red in a different way, these are the shoes! We are getting a cold front this weekend, so we are spending our Valentine’s Day warm, inside with an at home seafood dinner. What are your plans?
Don’t forget to check out my earlier look here on wearing blush for Valentine’s Day & some Vday style inspiration here. Xoxo.

Happy February!! I can’t believe it is February already. That means in less than two weeks it will be Valentine’s Day! What are your plans? We usually do a night at home and make a huge seafood dinner. This year I am definitely making Chilean sea bass as the main course.
Some years we have dressed up when we stayed home and others we stayed home low key. This year I am going to be extra casual and I just want a relaxing night at home.
I did want to share my Valentine’s day pick for a date night out for the holiday. Even if you aren’t going out these are such cute dresses in general. I am really loving the black and nude sparkling one (number 10). Hoping you find some inspiration from this and pick the cutest valentine’s day outfit. What are your plans? Do you do anything fun with your valentine? Or do you usually have a girls night out? Btw I am so insanely excited Kendall & Kylie’s spring line just came out. I am going to go to Nordstrom this weekend to pick some clothes up and share with you guys. xoxo.
