I am loving oversized sweaters lately. It is part of my current maternity style, which of course also includes duster cardigans as I mentioned in yesterday’s post. Oversized sweaters are just so cozy and are a perfect maternity piece. If you aren’t expecting is is such a great winter piece. We only have a few more short weeks until Spring arrives and I am so excited!
I am wearing a Forever21 basic grey sweater and you really can’t go wrong with grey and black. Surprisingly, I am wearing a size medium. I love that I can get away with basic clothing at a larger size, it is really helping keep my style trendy. However, with a few more weeks to go I have been wearing more standard maternity clothing.
I am really loving all of Forever21 clothes lately. They are so affordable and are really trendy and up to date with style. There are so many spring styles I love and I can’t wait until the spring when I can wear them after baby.

I am so in love with the duster cardigan trend. It adds so much to an outfit and if you pick a statement piece it can bring your entire outfit to a whole new level. I am wearing simple black jeans and a black turtleneck and this piece really brings the outfit to life. Not to mention when you are really showing in your pregnancy, it hides the bump more and any areas that need some hiding. For all of my mamas out there, you know what I am talking about. I had such a fun time shooting this look with my girl, Arazelly. She is such an amazing photographer. We shot in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and there were so many cool opportunities and great photography spots. We shot this look at Mr. Purple and I can’t wait to go back.

Festival season is upon us and that means festival season fashion is going to be all the rage. My favorite part about festival season fashion is how creative you can get with your style. This includes bright colors, fun prints, unique sunglasses, cut off shorts and fun jewelry. It is a time you can have your personality really stand out. I am not going to Coachella this weekend, but I do have a few concerts to attend in NYC this summer and I love how you can dress so fun for the occasion.
I wanted to share with you a fun Kimono I got from Forever21. I love Forever21 because you can find so many trendy items for such a great budget friendly price. I have worn this Kimono quite a few times including to Epcot when we went to Disney World in February. I love the fringe and the bright colors of this Kimono. I can see it being worn with shorts, some gladiator sandals and a fun hat if you are planning on hitting any of the festivals this year. Are you going to any festivals or concerts this season? What are you wearing to them?

Today I am talking about four ways to transition your wardrobe into spring. It is still cold here in New York City and the weather can range from anywhere from 50 degrees to 70 degrees during the day and even colder at night. We are definitely checking the weather to make sure we dress appropriately. Below I am sharing four ways I am transitioning my wardrobe into spring.
- Put away heavy winter clothes Woohoo! I do this first in my wardrobe transition. I make room for my spring pieces and to put them front and center, I put away all heavy jackets, sweaters and winter boots. In its place I bring forward my spring trench coat, light weight jackets and sweaters, and ballet flats.
- Layers Since the temperature can fluctuate I make sure to always bring a light weight jacket. I usually start my outfit with jeans and a tank, or short sleeve shirt, with a light weight sweater or long sleeve button down. Therefore, if its really cold I have layers plus my light weight jacket, and if the temperatures are high enough I can spend a few hours in my short sleeve shirt or light weight sweater.
- Bright Colors One thing I get excited about is getting to wear bright colors again. I start to put away my browns, greys, and blacks and I start to bring out my pinks, blues and whites. These spring colors are amazing in front of newly blossomed trees.
- Spring Accessories One of the best spring accessories are light weight spring scarves. This is a great way to keep warm when it is colder but the scarves usually come in great light colors or floral prints. Great way to add spring to your wardrobe. Also, don’t forget nothing says spring and summer is right around the corner without a great pair of sunnies. Colorful handbags are also a great way to add some spring. Swap your black bag with a light blush bag and instantly add spring to your look.
How are you transitioning your wardrobe into spring?
Crochet Vest: Forever21 / Jeans: Banana republic / Sunglasses: Steve Madden in store purchase ($10), only similar online I found is here / Shoes: Ivanka Trump (old, similar here)
How gorgeous is this crochet vest? And it is under $20, win! It has been 70 degrees here in NYC and we all have spring fever. In honor of this early spring, I thought I would share with you guys this new crochet vest. I usually do my shopping online and found this vest on the Forever21 website and loved how they styled it. I dressed this look up with heels, but I can totally see this vest worn with sandals and shorts, I think I may try that look next so you can see the versatility. I also love how it is longer in the back, it just really is super cute. It is sleeveless so you have to make sure it is warm enough to wear, but this is perfect for spring.
What are your plans for the weekend? We have a relaxing weekend of seeing friends & family and running errands. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Today we are talking about accessories!! I am teaming up with my friends Walking in Memphis in High Heels and The Fashion Canvas to share our favorite accessories.
If you came over from their sites, welcome!! Here I talk all about fashion, beauty, travel and lifestyle.
Today, I am sharing my new favorite handbag. I saw a bag similar to this, specifically the Celine version, but found this budget friendly version at Forever21. The hardware is sturdy and secure and the bag, although small and fashionable, can surprisingly hold a lot. I have a 17 months old baby boy, and I am constantly throwing random baby stuff in my bags, so if I can run around with a stylish bag like this but still fit everything and more, than that is a win! I also love I can wear it as a crossbody or I can carry it as a tiny satchel.
I am also in love with these ear jackets. I saw it on another blogger, and found these randomly at Target when I was shopping for our Disney World trip. They have been on repeat wear over the last week.
