Lucas: Costume – Amazon / Shirt – Target
Hey guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend. We did some trick or treating this year and Lucas was a train conductor and I was a witch. Usually I love doing big costumes and going all out for Halloween, but it felt so good to just relax this year and not go to big. But next year, I am already thinking of our costumes and I would really love to do something big. I use to spend my Halloween’s in the city and since we moved to the suburbs we hardly do that anymore. I want to next year at least do the Halloween parade in NYC and maybe some serious trick or treating for Lucas.
I wore this new H&M sweater as my “black” for being a witch, it is so comfy. I bought it as a random pick up, I didn’t even try it on in store and I have been wearing it non stop. It is definitely a must purchase. I also decided to buy this new tote from H&M. I have been looking for a larger black tote, something not too costly, but easy to throw everything when trying to get out the door. Camera, bottle of water, some food and cars for Lucas. I wanted it to be tote style so I can just open and grab what I need, I don’t know if any other Mama’s have a demanding 2 year old, but when Lucas gets hangry, watch out!
I hope everyone’s week is going great. We are in full force fall here and I really can’t wait until all things Christmas!

The weekend before Christmas we got into the Christmas spirit and did all Christmas things around New York City. One thing we did was go see the lights in Dyker Heights Brooklyn. We have been seeing the lights at these houses for years now. They go allllll out. One house even had a DJ, most houses have Santas, and over the top lights. One house even had an Elmo and we were able to get a picture with him. We are so happy that Lucas is a bit older now so we can start to take him to these things for him to enjoy.
Happy Holidays!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday and is getting ready to celebrate a wonderful New Years. I wanted to share some of our pictures we used for our Holiday cards. This little boy is such an angel and I love his personality so much. Lucas got more toys that this house can hold for Christmas, but we are so lucky he has so many people that love him and want to spoil him.
I am wearing my favorite holiday look in these photos that I shared on my blog a few weeks ago. Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful time. What are your New Years plans? We are going to just stay in and celebrate at home as a little family. Nice & relaxing.
