Sweater: Marshalls (smiliar here for $27.90, loving this high / low version here and here) / Jeans: Gap / Crossbody: Marshalls (LOVE this one) / Shoes: old similar here (and under $80)
Happy Wednesday loves! I am a huge sweater weather girl, there is something just so cozy about it and I love this green cozy sweater. I wrote about a new maroon sweater I am in love with and this green one is just as good. Sometimes I love cowl neck and sometimes not so much, but this sweater is perfect. It is so soft against my skin that I just love wrapping myself in the sweater, and best part is it is under $40. It such a steal and of course got it from one of my favorite stores, Marshalls.
I also linked to a few green cozy sweaters I am loving right now, including one from Nordstroms for $27.90. You’re welcome! Hope everyone has a great day xoxoxo.

Happy Tuesday! I love sweater weather. There is something that is so cozy and warm about wearing sweaters and knowing the weather is getting cooler. This Maroon sweater I picked up from Marshalls, is such a steal, and is under $40. I can’t find the exact one online, but I linked to a few similar ones. The sweater is a bit short, but goes great with denims.
I am also in love with this bag, also from Marshalls, and only $25. I swear I find the best deals there, sometimes you have to search but you can find some really great stuff. I am really obsessed with the Chloe bag, and this was such a great find that was similar but a lot more affordable. I also linked (above) to a Rebecca Minkoff bag that is similar that I am pretty much in love with and under $200. Maybe a Christmas gift to myself?
I hope everyone is getting ready to have a wonderful holiday season. We made an announcement on my social channels, that we are expecting our second baby in March 2017! We are so excited. In fact we took these pictures right after my doctors appointment where we found out we are having a girl. Lucas is so excited to be a big brother, I don’t know if he fully understands the concept but he points to my tummy and says baby. I can’t wait to see his interaction with her once she gets here. I am starting to do all the planning like ordering crib, bedding, etc… I can’t wait to share all the details. I will do a bigger pregnancy update soon on the blog. Xoxoxo.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are pretty much in a food coma today and getting ready to have more family over this afternoon. This morning I have been doing a ton of Black Friday shopping. There are so many good deals and I pretty much scored everyone’s Christmas presents already. Talk about feeling accomplished. I wanted to share some of my favorite sales and deals below.

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend. We did some trick or treating this year and Lucas was a train conductor and I was a witch. Usually I love doing big costumes and going all out for Halloween, but it felt so good to just relax this year and not go to big. But next year, I am already thinking of our costumes and I would really love to do something big. I use to spend my Halloween’s in the city and since we moved to the suburbs we hardly do that anymore. I want to next year at least do the Halloween parade in NYC and maybe some serious trick or treating for Lucas.
I wore this new H&M sweater as my “black” for being a witch, it is so comfy. I bought it as a random pick up, I didn’t even try it on in store and I have been wearing it non stop. It is definitely a must purchase. I also decided to buy this new tote from H&M. I have been looking for a larger black tote, something not too costly, but easy to throw everything when trying to get out the door. Camera, bottle of water, some food and cars for Lucas. I wanted it to be tote style so I can just open and grab what I need, I don’t know if any other Mama’s have a demanding 2 year old, but when Lucas gets hangry, watch out!
I hope everyone’s week is going great. We are in full force fall here and I really can’t wait until all things Christmas!

During New York Fashion Week Refinery29.com held a special exhibit, Refinery 29 rooms, in Brooklyn. The exhibit was held in a warehouse with all different themed rooms and was only open for a few days, so the line to see the exhibit was so long. It still feels like summer here in New York City. Thank goodness there were a ton of ice cream trucks around the block so you can grab an ice cream while you wait and keep cool.
Walking on the way to the exhibit there are some really cool walls with art work / graffiti and we stopped to take a few pics, especially since it matched my outfit. This dress is from last summer from Old Navy, but I really love how you can find some quick finds from Old Navy for really affordable prices.
This weekend it is finally going to start getting cooler and I can’t wait for fall and all the fall clothes and pumpkin spiced lattes! Hope you are getting ready to have a wonderful weekend.
Romper: H&M / Vest: Marshalls find similar here / Shoes: old similar here
Last week was Fashion Week was here in New York City and it was so much fun. We went all around Manhattan and went to a few different studios where some of the shows were held (Milk and Made studios to be exact). I wore this Romper from H&M and it is on sale now if you want to snag any end of season sale deals. I also wore a light tan suede vest I got at Marshalls a few weeks ago. My outfit was a mix of end of summer (it was 90 degrees this day) and soon to be fall, which I can’t wait for!
On our New York fashion week day we also met Sazan Hendrix & Teni Panosian at the Standard where they hosted their meet up. They are so nice and wonderful, inspiring ladies. We also stopped by the Gigi shop in the Meatpacking and took a look around to see the collection. Looking forward to next years fashion week!

Hi guys!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I am so lucky it was my second Mother’s Day to the most wonderful angel. We had swim class Sunday morning, which Lucas is doing great in, and then James made a huge breakfast when we got home. We made my favorite from Denny’s, moons over my hammy. Then I read a few chapters in the new book I am reading “The Girl on the Train” and then we did some shopping. Busy Mother’s Day! We celebrated with our family Friday and Saturday night, so it was great to have the full day for just us.
I am sharing some photos we took a few months ago when it was so cold and we couldn’t do outdoor pictures, but we had such a fun time shooting this. We love this new chair for Lucas, we got it from Pottery Barn Kids and it is so cute. We saw our nieces have a similar chair when they were Lucas age and they loved it. Lucas sometimes watches his Disney movies in the chair, or uses it to hide behind when we play hide and seek. He is literally the cutest baby and it is so amazing how they grow so fast, he doesn’t even fit in this outfit anymore. They grow so fast!

Sharing a spring fashion look I did a few weeks ago with my friend Arazelly at the Brooklyn Bridge. I wore this look on Easter weekend but did a mini shoot with her for fun to officially shoot this look.
Arazelly is such a great photographer (as you can see from the pics) and as I am getting more into photography and this fashion blog thing, thought we would do a fun mini shoot by the bridge. If you haven’t been there is so much to do by Brooklyn Bridge Park. There is Grimaldi’s pizza, Jane’s Carousel, the park has so many activities itself especially in the summer like the kids water lab, soccer fields, walking and biking paths, etc…I also love walking in downtown Brooklyn near all the shops. If you are ever in NYC don’t miss going to Brooklyn and of course walking the Brooklyn Bridge (so beautiful!).
This past weekend we celebrated my husband’s 33rd Birthday with friends and family with a small BBQ at our house. It is finally getting warm and beautiful here in NYC and I am so excited for this weather. It is making me plan and book all of our summer trips. Do you guys have any great summer plans??
